Overview of services:
Antenatal education, labour and birth support, postnatal support, infant feeding education & support, and Placenta Remedies Specialist services.
Nikki’s doula services offer emotional and practical support alongside her guidance through pregnancy from birth plans and preferences and one to one antenatal workshops to infant feeding and postnatal sessions, tailored specifically to your needs as a family.
Nikki provides educational and practical tools to help parents with their transition to mother/parenthood whilst also supporting the needs of their partner or older siblings. This may include a postnatal plan utilising your existing family dynamics to their full potential, or a familiar presence walking by your side in the postnatal days and weeks after your baby arrives.
Nikki provides support to families during pregnancy who would like an intervention free, natural birth at home or in the hospital, as well as families who opt for inductions or elective caesarean and will fully support your birth choices. Bespoke and flexible, your support package can be tailored to suit your families needs and budget.
“I am here to help you listen to your own inner voice. It’s hard when there’s so many competing ideas of ‘what you’re supposed to do’ so that’s what I’m here to support you with. The support I provide can help you achieve what you want and to remind you to listen to your own natural voice guiding you. I’ve been supporting families for many years and have walked alongside many women and their families on varied paths, personal to them in their own way. This is why I know, there is no “right way”, the paths are different and I’m here to walk alongside you, to lean on, to hold you up, so you feel able to choose the direction which feels right for you and your baby. I want you to feel sacred and not scared, that’s what a doula does, supports you to be heard.” Nikki Mather
